What is Clashdle Troops?

Clashdle Troops is the classic Clash of Clans Wordle: one hidden troop per day, picked from all 30 elixir and dark elixir troops in the game. Every guess is scored across eight attribute columns, so each wrong answer still narrows the field. A new troop goes live every day at 00:00 UTC.

How Troops mode scores your guess

1. Type any Clash of Clans troop name — the autocomplete only accepts real troops, so you never waste a guess on a typo.
2. Each of the eight columns turns green for an exact match or red for a miss. There is no yellow "close" colour: Clash attributes are exact values, not letters.
3. The five numeric columns (Housing Space, Movement Speed, Range, Attack Speed, Town Hall) also show ▲ or ▼ — the answer is higher or lower than your guess.
4. There is no guess limit. Keep going until you solve it; your score is how few tries you needed.

The eight attribute columns explained

Resource tells you Elixir or Dark Elixir — the single strongest split, because dark troops only start at Town Hall 7 and there are far fewer of them. Damage Type (single target vs splash) and Target (ground, air, or both) cut the pool roughly in half each. Housing Space ranges from 1 (Barbarian) to 30+ (siege-scale units) and is the most informative numeric column. Movement Speed, Range and Attack Speed separate similar-looking units, and Town Hall unlock level pins the troop to an era of the game.

Tips and common mistakes

• Open with a mid-cost elixir troop such as a Valkyrie or Wizard. A Barbarian tells you almost nothing because its stats sit at the extreme of every column.
• Read the ▲/▼ arrows before the colours. A red cell with an arrow is far more useful than a red cell without one.
• The most common mistake is chasing one green column. Two greens on cheap columns (Resource + Target) usually beat one green on Housing Space.
• Remember super troops and their base versions share most attributes — check Housing Space to tell them apart.

All 30 elixir and dark elixir troops currently in Clashdle's roster, including the newest Town Hall releases.

Why is there no yellow colour like in Wordle?

Clash attributes are exact values rather than letters, so a cell is either right or wrong. The ▲/▼ arrows on numeric columns do the job yellow does in Wordle.

Do siege machines and heroes count as troops?

No. Troops mode covers army camp troops only. Hero gear has its own mode — Clashdle Equipment.

Is there a guess limit in Troops mode?

No. You can guess as many times as you need; the shared score is how few tries it took.
